This early American skyscraper was designed in the neo-Gothic style by architect Cass Gilbert. At 792 feet, it was the tallest building in the world when completed in 1913.

The second tallest structure in the world after the Burj Khalifa, the Tokyo Skytree reached its full height of 2,080 feet in 2011. It is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower.
Sagrada Familia
Also known as the Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, this Roman Catholic church is a masterpiece of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. The church is still in construction.
