Officially known as the Metropolitan Costume Institute Benefit, the Met Gala is an extravagant black-tie affair. Keeping up with the annual extravaganza, the 2019 Met Gala was themed “Camp: Notes on Fashion.” The theme was inspired by a 1964-essay by Susan Sontag, Notes on Camp.
