1.Vanilla Ice
Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle, is an American rapper who was extremely popular among millennials during the ‘90s. He rose to fame when his single “Ice Ice Baby” topped the Billboard charts, one of the very first hip-hop songs to do so. However, after realizing that his contract with SKB was not giving him the creative freedom he deserved, Ice decided to change directions. He made less mainstream albums like Hard to Swallow, Bi-Polar, and Platinum Underground which didn’t do very well with a majority of listeners. Eventually, Ice decided to stop pursuing music altogether and used his initial earnings to invest in a new business venture. He is now largely involved in flipping expensive houses and has a Discovery Channel show called The Vanilla Ice Project. The former singer still accepts occasional music gigs when he finds the right people for it. Ice has set up his own recording studio in Miami.
